ROUTE

All Portumna Forest Marathon Events are run over a flat 5K loop, with extra distance added for the half marathon and full marathon. The course is run on tarmacked roads and forest paths that are solid compacted even gravel.

No part of the route is considered off road.

50K Route (8am)

The 50km event begin together at the Forest Park main car park. Each event consists of laps of 5km in length.

Full Marathon Route (9:15am)

The Full Marathon starts at the Forest Park main car park. Participants must run to the Forest Park entrance and back before embarking on eight 5K loops to the finish.

Half Marathon Route (10am)

The Half Marathon begins at the entrance to Portumna Forest Park.

The half marathon route joins the Ultra route and consists of four loops from where participants cross the finish line at the Forest Park main car park.

NOTE: If you are parked close to the Forest Park main entrance and have your race number already, there is no need to go to the finish area (the Forest Park main car park). You can remain at the Forest Park entrance until race start at 10am.

10K Route

The 10K begins at the main carpark in the Forest Park and consists of two full loops.

The course is clearly marked. organisers reserve the rights to amend the course without notifying the participants due to unforeseen circumstances, Local authorities permissions, health and safety.
